Ex Forces Consultants have been placed with a range of blue chip clients in a variety of industries and sectors, including:

Following two years working with a client, consultants have the option to transfer to permanent employment with the client (provided a role is available) or to be placed with another client.

Programme members are provided with mentoring and support to assist with their transition to the civilian workforce, with particular emphasis on CV writing, interview skills. This coaching is provided by industry qualified trainers, which is complemented by support from the Ex Forces Programme staff who are all ex-military and understand the challenges that service leavers face when transitioning out of the armed forces.
Additional, tailored training is often provided before assignment, to ensure that consultants have the specific skills to deliver when working for a client.
FDM Group is a FTSE 250 recruit, train and deploy consultancy that helps service leavers build careers in tech and business consulting. Their Ex-Forces Programme takes veterans from any service or rank, puts them through paid, accredited training run by ex-forces staff, and places them as consultants with leading clients across banking, insurance, utilities, media and government.
No prior experience is required. Training is accredited by TechSkills and designed around current IT and business needs, with roles spanning project management, software development, data, testing and business analysis. Starting salaries range from £25,000 to £50,000, depending on experience.
