Code of Conduct

Last updated 5 Oct, 2023

At Troopr, trust and integrity are at the heart of everything we do. This Code of Conduct sets out the principles and standards we expect from our team, contractors, suppliers and partners. It reflects our commitment to doing business ethically, transparently and in full compliance with UK law.

By working with Troopr, you agree to uphold these standards and help us create a trusted platform for the Armed Forces community.

1. Anti-Bribery and Corruption

Troopr has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We comply fully with the UK Bribery Act 2010 and expect the same of everyone we work with.

  • We never offer, give, request or accept bribes, facilitation payments or anything of value intended to improperly influence a decision.
  • We conduct our business honestly and fairly, ensuring decisions are made on merit and legitimate business considerations.
  • All Troopr staff and contractors must report any suspected bribery or corruption immediately to senior management.

2. Gifts, Hospitality and Entertainment

We understand that appropriate business hospitality can help build relationships — but it must never create (or appear to create) improper influence.

  • Modest, occasional gifts or hospitality may be acceptable, but anything lavish, frequent or offered during procurement or contract discussions is not.
  • All gifts or hospitality above a modest value must be recorded and approved in advance by senior management.
  • Offering or accepting cash or cash equivalents (e.g. vouchers) is strictly prohibited.

If in doubt, the best approach is to ask first and err on the side of caution.

3. Conflicts of Interest

Everyone working with Troopr must act in the organisation’s best interests and avoid situations where personal interests conflict (or could appear to conflict) with professional responsibilities.

Examples of conflicts include:

  • Personal relationships that could influence business decisions
  • Holding a financial interest in a supplier, competitor or client
  • Undertaking outside work that could compromise Troopr’s interests

Conflicts must be declared promptly to management so they can be reviewed and managed transparently.

4. Whistleblowing (Speak Up)

We encourage a culture where concerns can be raised safely and without fear.

Anyone can raise concerns confidentially if they believe wrongdoing has occurred, is occurring, or may occur — including breaches of this Code, legal obligations, health & safety risks, fraud, or unethical behaviour.

  • Concerns can be raised directly with the Founder/CEO or via info@troopr.co.uk.
  • We will treat all reports seriously, handle them sensitively and fairly, and protect individuals who speak up in good faith from retaliation.

5. Living by These Principles

This Code is part of how we build a trusted and responsible organisation.

  • All Troopr staff, contractors and suppliers are expected to read, understand and uphold these standards.
  • Training and regular reminders help embed these principles in our daily work.
  • We will review this Code periodically to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
