At Emerging Risks Global (ERG), we design risk-based and intelligence-led converged security systems, tailored to meet the evolving challenges faced by organisations. Specialising in human factor security, ERG equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safeguard themselves, their teams and their organisations. Through our carefully crafted training programs, we instill a culture of care and accountability, ensuring every member recognises their vital role in protecting colleagues, business assets and organisational reputation.
ERG have built the Crisis Resilience Professionals Pathway and the Crisis Resilience Professionals Guild, a structured, end‑to‑end professional development ecosystem designed to strengthen the UK’s security, risk and resilience workforce. The pathway provides a clear route from entry‑level training through to postgraduate study and professional practice, covering physical, cyber, personnel, technical and people security, as well as risk and organisational resilience.
The CRPP offers:
· A nationally scalable skills pipeline for security and resilience roles, aligned with Cabinet Office career pathways.
· A structured route for veterans and emergency service leavers, supported by ELCAS approval and Skills for Justice accreditation.
· Integration with existing SIA, protective security and intelligence‑related qualifications, including the Level 4 Protective Security Advisors course.
· Collaboration with HE institutions to deliver undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral pathways in crisis resilience.
· A professional Guild enabling trained practitioners to showcase their skills and connect directly with employers, supporting workforce uplift across the sector.
Emerging Risks Global is deeply committed to supporting the Armed Forces Community, both in principle and in practice. As a veteran‑led organisation made up predominantly of former service personnel, we understand the values, skills, and challenges associated with military life. This lived experience shapes our culture, our work, and our dedication to those who have served.
Our commitment is demonstrated through several key actions:
Veteran‑Led Team
ERG was founded by veterans and continues to be staffed largely by individuals with military backgrounds. We actively champion the employment of service leavers, reservists, and military family members, recognising the exceptional expertise they bring.
Armed Forces Covenant Signatory
We are proud signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant, affirming our pledge to ensure that those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated with fairness, respect, and opportunity.
Partnership with the Royal Marines Association and Charity
ERG has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Royal Marines Association and Charity, strengthening our collaboration in supporting the Royal Marines community and contributing to initiatives that enhance wellbeing, transition, and resilience.
ELCAS Accreditation
As an ELCAS‑accredited training provider, we support the professional development of service leavers by offering high‑quality training pathways that help them build new careers and apply their military experience in civilian sectors.
SSAFA Mentors and Charity Supporters
Members of our team serve as SSAFA mentors, providing direct support to veterans and their families. We also actively contribute to a range of military charities, reinforcing our commitment to the wider Armed Forces ecosystem.
