Cessa housing association (cessa ha) manages sheltered housing schemes for a variety of ex-service personnel and their families aged over 60. the aim of sheltered housing is to enable occupants to live independently for as long as possible and each flat is let at reasonable rents on an assured tenancy. accordingly, applicants need to be capable of independent living at the point of taking up a tenancy, but if additional services become necessary from other agencies later, then any that can be delivered to someone's home can be provided within the scheme.
