Our commitment to the Armed Forces Community

Our programme for serving and former members of the armed forces and their families is called the Armed Forces Community Project. This includes staff members who have served in the forces and offers four main elements:

  • Drop-in sessions with specialist support on housing, benefits and pensions, mental health and a wide range of wellbeing and social difficulties
  • A six week wellbeing course designed to help participants maximise the wellbeing and mental fitness of themselves and their family and friends
  • Fun wellbeing activities: During school holidays we offer the chance for serving and ex-forces members to come along with family members or close friends/support friends and engage in fun wellbeing activities. These provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships and meet other members of the armed forces community
  • One-to-one support sessions: Wellbeing and practical support
