Through partnerships with leading academic agencies like Brunel University London, Alexander First School ensures access to world-class staff training and development, continuously striving to evaluate and improve their impact. Miss M. Khokar, as the Headteacher, aims to cultivate well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills and drive for a successful life.
Our school is the hub of the Windsor service community. Our pupils are predominantly military families. Alexander First School is deeply committed to supporting the Armed Forces community, particularly Service Children who constitute a significant portion of their student body. Recognising the diverse backgrounds and challenges faced by these students, the school provides a comprehensive range of support services. This includes emotional and mental health assistance through trained staff, specialised therapies such as Play Therapy and Filial Therapy, and initiatives like "Reading Force" to maintain connections during deployments. Academic support is also prioritised, with interventions like phonics catch-up and personalised maths booster sessions. Additionally, the school fosters community engagement through themed events and adaptations to accommodate the schedules of Service parents. By integrating military-related themes into the curriculum and offering physical well-being programs like Mentorship PT, Alexander First School ensures that Service children and their families receive the support they need to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
