Auctus Management Group (AMG) and RSS Infrastructure (RSSI) deliver complex multi‑disciplinary projects across UK rail, civils and utilities for clients including Network Rail, HS2, Midland Metro Alliance, freight operators and Tier 1 contractors. Headquartered in Birmingham with offices in Cwmbran, Doncaster and Tonbridge, their portfolio covers signalling and control systems, depot and track renewals, freight terminals, station upgrades and nationwide vegetation frameworks, built on a culture of safety, collaboration and innovation.
Provides comprehensive drug and alcohol testing for safety‑critical staff in line with Network Rail and industry standards. AMG has introduced fingerprint‑based drug screening with Intelligent Fingerprinting, complementing alcohol breath testing across induction, pre‑employment and random testing programmes. The system detects workplace‑relevant levels of cocaine, opiates, methamphetamine and cannabis from fingertip sweat, providing rapid results without the hygiene and privacy issues linked to urine or saliva, supporting a modern, dignified and efficient approach to safety, compliance and worker wellbeing.
Technical Services
Brings together Civils & Construction, Rail Operations, Signalling & Telecoms, Geofencing and Track Warning Services in a single integrated offer. Teams deliver groundworks, drainage, lineside and depot upgrades, and signalling renewals and depot control systems. As the UK’s sole provider of Track Warning Services (including SATWS) and digital geofencing, RSSI enhances on‑site situational awareness, worker protection and productivity.
Managed Environments
Combines Arboriculture, Vegetation Management, Ecology and Industrial Rope Access to manage the interface between infrastructure and the natural environment, including tree works, vegetation control, ecological surveys and rope access for elevated or constrained assets, protecting operations and supporting environmental and ESG goals.
Welding Services
Specialist provider to mainline, metro, light rail and heritage networks, delivering end‑to‑end welding and grinding with a 99% first‑time weld approval rate, integrated with Rail Operations and Civils for seamless delivery.
AMG is deeply committed to the Armed Forces community and recognises the unique contribution that serving personnel, reservists, veterans and their families make to both our business and wider society. This commitment is formalised through our pledge to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and to ensure that those who serve, or have served, are treated with fairness, respect and understanding in all of our activities.
Our formal pledge
Having signed the Armed Forces Covenant, committed to upholding its principles and to ensuring that members of the Armed Forces community face no disadvantage when accessing our services or seeking employment with us. We actively promote this pledge across our business, encouraging feedback from the Armed Forces community so that we can continually improve the support we provide.
Gold Award employer
AMG holds the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award, reflecting sustained, high‑level support to those who serve, veterans, reservists, cadet force volunteers and military families. We first achieved Gold status in 2019 and have maintained this standard for five years, embedding Armed Forces support into our culture, policies and decision‑making.
Forces‑friendly employment
We actively seek to recruit ex‑service personnel, recognising the leadership, teamwork, resilience and technical skills they bring, and we work closely with relevant networks to promote opportunities to service leavers. Our employment practices include flexibility for reservists and support for spouses and partners, helping them balance work responsibilities with Service commitments and family life.
Practical support and engagement
Our commitment extends beyond the workplace into practical, visible support for Armed Forces charities and community initiatives, including long‑term backing for the Royal British Legion and fundraising activities. Colleagues have taken part in challenges such as Pedal to Paris and other remembrance‑focused events, reinforcing our connection with veterans, families and the wider Armed Forces community.
Advocacy and future commitment
We act as advocates for the Armed Forces Covenant, encouraging other employers to sign up and to recognise the value of those who serve and have served. Looking ahead, we remain committed to strengthening our policies, partnerships and outreach so that Auctus Management Group continues to be a trusted, supportive and welcoming organisation for the whole Armed Forces community.
