The RAF Families Federation exists to make life better for Service personnel and their families, at home and overseas. Married, seperated, in a long-term relationship or single, with children or without, we are here to support, advise and guide.
We provide reliable information on the topics that matter most to you, support you through to the resolution of problems resulting from Service and make long-term positive changes happen for the Armed Forces Community.
Information - When you don’t know what information to trust, our website offers reliable and up-to-date information on the matters that impact Service life.
Guidance - When you don’t know which way to turn, we can help you navigate the plethora of support and services available to the Armed Forces community.
Support - When you have exhausted all avenues, we can help identify the best routes to get any persisting problems resolved.
Advocacy - When you feel unseen, we can help your voice be heard by the chain of command, government, and service providers.
We are free to use – the quality, independent information, advice, and support provided by us is free.
We are informed – we have policy experts embedded within the team; this ensures we can offer the best advice to you.
We are independent – we are funded by a grant-in-aid from the RAF, this enables us to work independently from them and can provide confidential advice.
We are well connected – we work closely with the RAF, government organisations and service providers, this means we can make the problems you face known to the people that can make it better.
We understand what it is like – 72% of our team have served or are part of a serving family.
Envoy Magazine - Envoy is our free quarterly magazine publication, written for RAF personnel and their families.
eBulletin newsletter - Our weekly eBulletin for RAF families will help you keep up-to-date with relevant latest news.
