Vespasian’s support of the armed forces is two-fold. We work not only to provide employment to those within the forces community (whether that is reservists, family members or veterans), but we also lend our services to a range of military events, bases and memorials.

Our work with the armed forces stretches back to the inauguration of the company in 2006, since we have been privileged to work alongside the British Forces at Brize Norton, HM Naval Base in the Historic Dockyard and a variety of Remembrance Services. This is not something we take lightly, with many of our ex-servicemen, or current reservists taking priority in the staffing of these events. We offer a flexible, low-commitment employment, meaning our employees are able to fit their shifts around military commitments and deployments. We assure all members of the Armed Forces that their employment with us will be waiting upon their return, and any time away does not affect the booking of future shifts. With an active role in fundraising for military charities, our management team recently completed the National Three Peaks challenge in aid of Help for Heroes, raising over £2000 for the vital support they provide veterans across the country. Our head office has also completed the Help for Heroes Veterans Suicide Awareness Training, which has spread across the company, with numerous operational staff also taking the e-learning.
