The Rifles Benevolence Trust owns a small estate of housing in Winchester, which consists of 21 properties of Stanmore Lane. They are for the benefit of veteran Riflemen as well as veterans of RIFLES antecedent and forming regiments. There is a waiting list for Green Jacket Close which is prioritised by the needs of individuals. The list is controlled by the regimental property manager, but the Regimental Trustees make the final decision on the successful residents.
