We are looking for Information Resources Officers to join our new Resources and Discovery Team. The Team ensure that students, researchers and staff have the teaching, learning and research content they need. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across all aspects of learning resources (digital and print books, journals, databases, reading lists) and the systems students use to access them. Resource acquisition, data usage and user support are all key elements of the role.

We are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys a challenge and who has the initiative to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A positive attitude is essential, as well as problem-solving, time management and prioritisation skills. You should have excellent customer service skills and be able to demonstrate high levels of attention to detail. Previous relevant experience is useful, but we will provide a comprehensive induction and training programme.

The role holder will work at both Headingley and City Campuses, and this role is suitable for a mixture of on campus and hybrid working. Working arrangements are dependent on the job role, team and University requirements and will be discussed with candidates at interview.
