37 hr week

Band 5 £26,473 - £28,239

Solent Academies Trust is a multi-academy Trust comprised of five special schools, three of which are in Portsmouth, one in Compton, West Sussex and one in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Our sixth special school, based in Boorley Green, Botley is due to open September 2026.

We are looking to recruit a First Line IT Technician, to work within our busy IT Team, led by our Digital Innovation Lead.

The Frist Line IT Technician will work collaboratively across our academies; therefore, a full driving licence and business use car insurance are essential!

Our IT function is critical to enable our pupils to access their learning and for the smooth running of the Trust infrastructure. We are forward thinking, creative and innovative in our use of IT.

You will need to be a methodical, enthusiastic and highly organised individual who possess excellent time management skills and is able to work well under pressure. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their high level of competency in ICT and be a strong communicator.
