BNTVA membership for 2023-2024 is free.
Membership benefits include:
- pastoral support through Pastoral Support Officers, including for bereavement, loss and anxiety.
- Signposting to specialist military and mental health charities for emotional and practical assistance, including respite support and short-term care.
- Advocacy support to assist with social and health issues.
- Assistance with form-filling for war pensions and claiming benefits.
- Quarterly magazines and newsletters to keep veterans informed.
- Provides a BNTVA coffin drape when requested for funerals.
About British Nuclear Test Veterans Association (BNTVA)
The BNTVA was set up in 1983 to gain recognition and restitution for the British nuclear test veterans who took part in the British and American nuclear tests at the Montebello Islands, Christmas Island, Malden Island and Maralinga & Emu Field, South Australia.
