The Role
We’re looking for highly organised and proactive Systems Integration Engineers to join our dynamic team. These roles support the integration of cutting-edge technology on autonomous maritime platforms.
You’ll work across the UK and Kuwait (50/50 split), with a hybrid model in the UK (2 days/week on-site in Southampton). Travel operates on a monthly rotation between both locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot maritime tech systems (RADAR, sensors, CCTV, remote ops, platform IT, navigation systems).
- Support vessels in-field and in workshops, collaborating closely with engineers and vessel teams.
- Update integration records, ensure asset readiness and safety compliance.
- Engage in system testing, operational support and performance verification at sea.
- Participate in toolbox talks and HSE briefings, ensuring a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- BEng or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical or Communications Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in Systems Integration, ideally in maritime environments.
- Skilled in both hardware and software lifecycles.
Experience with:
- Maritime navigation, situational awareness & remote ops systems
- RADAR, COTS and bespoke electronics/software integration
- V&V processes, stakeholder management and lifecycle tailoring
- Test evidence, VVRM and system certification
- Understanding of security accreditation standards and cross-boundary requirements.
