Veterans Mentoring Programme

Mentoring is a way of helping and supporting people in achieving their goals. Sacro mentoring services provide people with a mentor who will provide support on a one-to-one basis with many of the issues they might face in the community. Mentoring provides support on a one-to-one basis and is very much focussed on individual needs. It is also, importantly, voluntary on the part of the participant.

Sacro’s Veterans Mentoring Service is a service for military veterans who are currently in or are at risk of becoming involved in the criminal justice system. The service will work closely with the veteran to put an intensive support plan in place where strategies can be developed to cope with their specific needs. The aim of the service is to enable the service user to enjoy sustainable, independent living.
