Description
We work in partnership with other welfare and medical organisations to deliver high quality services to BFSAI personnel, both individuals and families.
We offer support with:
ADULT WELFARE ISSUES
- We offer advice, support and guidance for a range of welfare issues including stress, anxiety, isolation and low mood, alcohol and substance misuse, ill-health or disability, relationship issues, bullying and harassment, loss and bereavement, debt management, and housing issues.
CHILD IN NEED
- Where emerging issues within a family may be impacting on a child’s welfare and development, BFSWS will assess the needs of the child and family. Together with the family, we will plan the support they need to thrive as a family and prevent the child from becoming at risk (through a Child in Need Plan).
DOMESTIC ABUSE SUPPORT
- We offer victim safety work and perpetrator interventions to reduce incidences of domestic abuse and promote safety and recovery.
VICTIM SUPPORT
- We can provide aftercare and emotional support for anyone who has been the victim of a crime.
SELF HELP
- We have a range of toolkits and guidance for young people and adults.
Please head to our website at the link provided to get help with any of these issues in the South Atlantic Islands.
