Description
Joining Reading Force in Northern Ireland is easy and secure. The program is available to Forces families across the UK, including those in Northern Ireland and abroad. When materials are sent to Northern Ireland, they ensure your security by using unmarked envelopes with no military insignia or rank references. To get started, simply fill out the form provided on their website. organisations and schools interested in bulk copies of materials can also sign up. Reading Force offers free shared reading resources and activities.
For children aged 11 and above, there's an option for a special journal. If there's a veteran in your family, they can receive an adult reading journal. The form also collects information about your service connection and whether you have a loved one currently on deployment.
Reading Force encourages families to engage in shared reading, providing a positive and fun way to connect during deployments. Testimonials from families highlight how Reading Force has helped them stay connected and cope with long deployments. Additionally, occasional email updates are available for those who opt in, and your data is kept confidential.
About Reading Force
