Description
The Parish runs a warm, safe, drop-in cafe on Thursdays in Todmorden, works with the local food bank, hosts musical events, offers pastoral visiting and support, and works in partnership with the wider community on environmental, social and interfaith activities. They also visit care homes, hold school visits, work with bereavement, elderly, disability and faith groups and Todmorden in Bloom and other churches.
Role: Enhance the first impressions and reputations of St Mary’s, St Michael’s, and/or St Peter’s chruches by maintaining well kept church grounds.
Weed, cut back brambles, tidy beds and driveways, dispose of litter, and help with pruning, planting, and clearing things to the tip, as needed.
You'll be given induction, training, and regular check-ins. You'll be supported with reasonable adjustments as needed, but mobility is required for this role.

About St Mary's Todmorden
St. Mary’s church is a welcoming, inclusive, friendly and fun community.
We have a variety of worship, including our main service on Sundays at 11am with choir, organist and children's activities.
There is also a quiet service at 8am on Sundays, a traditional service at 10am on Tuesdays and a Reflective service at 6pm on the second Sunday of each month.
The Community Cafe is in the Crypt on Thursdays from 11am to 2pm and there are other social and musical treats.
