Description

Support visits Visits offer supportive, reliable relationships through our Veterans Community Support Volunteers to veterans who would otherwise be socially isolated. Our Veterans Community Support Service stands on three main pillars

  1. Befriending
  2. Comradeship
  3. Sourcing Practical Help Our Scotland wide network of staff and volunteers give their time to offer friendship and companionship to isolated or lonely veterans or their dependants. Support visits can be carried out at home and also involve getting out for a coffee, walks, etc., We organise lunches, days out and many events and activities throughout the year. An important part of the service is the information gathering/signposting/referral service, so our clients know that they always have a trusted friend to turn to for support.

If you require a visit from your local Veteran Community Support Volunteer, please complete the referral form at the link provided and follow the instructions to send it to the appropriate email address.
