This form is for one-time financial support, with the possibility of receiving up to £750. However, it cannot be used for non-priority debts, legal costs, property adaptations, care expenses, or mobility equipment

The application involves a simple 3-step process:

1. Register and complete your profile, specifying your service in the Armed Forces as 'Royal Air Force' or 'Royal Observer Corps.'
2. Receive a support match to the RAF Benevolent Fund and continue to complete and submit your application.
3. Provide supporting evidence and submit your application.

After submitting your application, a member of the welfare team will usually contact you within 7 days. For assistance with your application, refer to Lightning Support and search for 'RAF Benevolent Fund.'

For more than 100 years, the RAF Benevolent Fund has been supporting members of our RAF Family through thick and thin, providing practical, emotional, and financial support whenever they need us. There are many ways the RAF Benevolent Fund can support you and your family. We always aim to provide a tailor-made approach to each individual situation ensuring you get the best support when you need it. In 2022 we supported over 40,700 veterans, serving personnel and their families. 13,800 were supported with their emotional wellbeing and more than 6,900 were supported financially.
