Training For Residents

Launchpad supports and encourages residents to gain skills and qualifications. There are a number of organisations working with Launchpad to achieve this, providing basic skills to degree level courses. Most of these courses are cost-free, but learning credits can also be used where necessary.

An example of this was when residents were invited to participate in a fully-funded Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene three-day course which helped them to gain essential cooking skills but also a qualification at the end of it.

Veterans' charity that provides accommodation, training, employment and housing support for armed forces veterans suffering from unemployment, homelessness, poverty, broken families, welfare issues, mental and physical illness, including PTSD.
