Description
The HM Forces Railcard, priced at £21, offers a 1/3 discount on most rail fares in Great Britain for a year.
Eligibility depends on your service commitment type, including full-time regular service, part-time regular service with reductions, reserve service options, and more. The railcard is for leisure travel only and cannot be used for commuting. With the Railcard, you can get a 34% discount on various fare types, including Anytime, Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak, and more. Additionally, it allows you to take up to four children under 16 at a 60% discount on child fares, with a minimum fare of £1. Some minimum fare requirements apply for journeys before 10 am on weekdays, except in July, August, or public holidays.
To obtain the railcard, Royal Navy and Army personnel should contact their Unit HR admin staff, while RAF personnel should apply through the RAF HR Portal.
