Enhanced Learning Credits: Education Qualifications Support

The Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) scheme helps eligible Service personnel pursue educational, academic, professional, or vocational qualifications. It supports qualifications at Level 3 or above in England, Northern Ireland, and Wales, Level 6 or above in Scotland, or approved international equivalents overseas. ELC funding is not for Service training, civilian-accredited Service training, professional bodies, course material, sport, or certain other programs. ELC provides up to £2,000 over three financial years, with a 20% personal contribution requirement. Standard Learning Credits cannot be used alongside ELC.
