Grants For University And Further Education

This scheme offers a yearly grant to bereaved children of military families, to access higher education institutions in the UK.

This scheme will enable applicable children to stay in further education for up to 3 years in order to obtain the qualifications necessary to secure a place at university. Once at University, the scheme provides a contribution towards the cost of a first undergraduate course at a publicly-funded UK higher education institution, regardless of course length. It covers both tuition fees (up to £9000 per year) & a maintenance grant (£4,950). These amounts will be reviewed anually.
