This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, a time to challenge stigma and encourage everyone to prioritise their own mental health, as well as the mental health of those around them. This year’s focus is on community and the vital role it plays in supporting the wellbeing of individuals and families. At Troopr, we understand the power of community and are committed to providing the Armed Forces Community with the support and tools they need to build strong networks and improve their lives.
How can Troopr help you?
Our unique platform helps you easily find health and wellbeing opportunities across the UK, tailored specifically for the Armed Forces Community. You can explore a range of opportunities, from therapy and PTSD programmes to local community and online groups - they are all available for you to search.
Aaron Clark, military child and Troopr’s Partnership and Community Manager, said: “At Troopr, we recognise the incredible benefits the community brings and the positive impacts it can have on those associated with the Armed Forces community. The connectivity, sense of belonging and activating purpose in people's lives all sourced from the community.
"In the military, 'community' means family, trust, and safety — values that are vital to our mental wellbeing. With this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week theme focused on community, I’m proud, as Troopr’s Partnership and Community Manager, to spotlight its power in protecting and improving mental health."
