Delivery and Service Associate (282jc) – Macclesfield/Field Based - £36,000 – £40,000 + Benefits

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Delivery and Service Associate to join their technical operations team.

What We Are Looking For

You will need to be someone who is comfortable being trusted to get on with the job without constant supervision.

Essential requirements include:

·         Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence

·         Strong professional driving and road-safety standards

·         Excellent communication and customer-service skills

·         Good organisational and time-management abilities

·         Practical approach to problem solving

·         High standards of personal and equipment presentation

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Flexible attitude towards working hours and changing operational requirements

·         Willingness and ability to work away from home

·         Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and overseas

·         Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

·         Willingness to undergo a DBS check

Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge would also be advantageous.

Candidates from the RLC, REME, Royal Engineers, RAF MT, logistics, transport, engineering or operational support environments may already possess many of the attributes required: safe vehicle operation, equipment care, deployment experience, working away from home, attention to detail, documentation, customer liaison and the ability to deal with problems without needing constant direction.

You do not need to come from the healthcare sector. What matters is that you are reliable, practical, professional and comfortable taking ownership of an operational task from start to finish.

Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 + Benefits
