This is a classroom based course delivered over 5 days to provide in-depth training, the course also includes a summative 2 hour examination on the full content of the Regulations.

The IET Wiring Regulations is a British standard for the installation of electrical wiring and is considered to be one of the most important documents for electricians in the UK. The regulations apply to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations, plus additions and alterations to existing installations. The Wiring Regulations is an essential publication for all professionals working in the electrotechnical engineering services industry and if you work on electrical installations in the UK then you need to know about the BS 7671 as this applies to the wiring installation you will be working on.

Assessment Method The course is assessed by a 2-hour examination
Progression Learners could expand their knowledge and progress onto the Domestic Green Energy programme which includes the practical applications of Electric Vehicle Charging and Solar Panels.
