The Military Transition Scheme is designed to help and support all service leavers transitioning from military to civilian life, with a view to embarking on a new career path within the lifting industry. The scheme is also designed to open working relationships between service leavers and the LEEA membership companies with a view to potential future employment.

Service Leavers The lifting industry is exceptionally diverse, opportunities available include roles within: Design, fabrication, manufacturing, and supply of lifting equipment Inspection, testing and maintenance of accessories, appliances and bespoke lifting equipment Career opportunities within diverse industries such as, renewables, construction, offshore and nuclear industries Eligibility Open to all regular service leavers worldwide regardless of armed branch, trade, experience or previous qualifications Available within 6 months of leaving and for 2 years after end of service Training Free LEEA Foundation Certificate e-Learning course, successful completion of the assessment gains a worldwide recognised qualification valid for life Advanced Diploma training courses at membership rates, subject to conditions Link to Worldwide LEEA Membership Networking with service leavers basic background and location displayed for LEEA members who maybe actively recruiting in your local area. Ability to view available job opportunities / vacancies of worldwide LEEA members with the possibility of recruitment into the lifting industry in over 80 countries worldwide
