We have an exciting opportunity for somebody to join the Rochdale EHC team in the post of EHC Coordinator.

The post is a full time- temporary position for 6 months to cover an internal secondment.

This role forms part of the front door to the EHC Team and we are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident in a busy, fast-paced environment. The post offers hybrid and flexible working.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing day to day administrative tasks
  • Answering phone enquiries and providing accurate, timely information
  • Monitoring the team inbox and responding to queries appropriately
  • Issuing draft and final EHCPs
  • Initiating statutory EHC needs assessments
  • Processing annual review paperwork

Requirements:
  • Confident communicator with families and professionals
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Competent with ICT systems
  • Experience working with children, young people or families is desirable

This role offers a great opportunity to develop experience within the SEND services, work closely with a wide range of professionals, support children, young people and families across the borough and gain valuable skills that can support progression within the EHC team.
