Pastoral Support Leader

Hours of Work: 18 hours per week; Term Time only

Closing date: Friday 20th February 2026(noon)

Salary: Band 5

Medina Primary School is an inclusive, friendly, one form entry primary and we are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Support Leader to join our small team. We are looking for someone who:

  • Can proactively build strong relationships with children and parents
  • Is caring, calm and patient
  • Would be able to provide emotional support for children
  • Would be able to support teachers in developing their skills of relational practice
  • Is flexible and proactive
  • Has experience of working with a wide range of children
  • Provide 1:1/group pastoral support to our pupils
  • Work closely with our SENCo/DSLs and other staff to implement and support strategies and early interventions
  • Support in the school's approach to attendance
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate well with others
  • ELSA experience desirable but not essential
