CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Procurement Manager to work remotely covering EMEA, APAC and North America.
About the role
As the CBRE Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and the performance management of service providers for outsourced services. You will also assist both internal and external stakeholders with the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies.
This job is part of the Procurement function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods or from vendors and suppliers. You will be responsible for supporting AkzoNobel account sourcing function for operation sites in the EMEA APAC and North America region.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify market trends, short and long-term sourcing options, and short and long-term partnering opportunities with vendors.
• Planning and leading negotiations, and implementing procurement initiatives to improve quality of service, supply and minimize cost.
• Demonstrating subject matter expertise to provide guidance to relevant stakeholders on procurement business processes including all risk/regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Sourcing execution expertise support to manage and deliver commercial negotiations with vendors.
• Assist with creating RFQ's / RFP's and ITB, selecting solutions, and negotiating.
• Prepare and maintain contracts with national and regional service providers. Ensure contracts adhere to company standards.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and other business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services.
• Manage supplier and contractor certification process. Conduct periodic visits to supplier work locations to review vendor performance.
• Negotiate with vendors for optimum quality, price, availability, delivery, and terms.
• Coordinate periodic supplier business reviews with key stakeholders; and leveraging CBRE GWS's software to manage.
• Facilitate corrective action plans for under-performing suppliers with the goal to stabilize performance.
• Ensure all suppliers maintain a compliant contract that reflects scope of work, site list, and compensation.
Required Knowledge and Skills
• A minimum 10-15 years of experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives specifically for hard and soft FM services
• Experience in developing and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
• Experience managing a sourcing program across geographies.
• Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate deals and understand what fair and optimal pricing structures are.
• Has a solid understanding of Facilities Management Services
• Experience working in a contract management environment with an FM service provider will be an added advantage.
• Has a proven track record of working with large-scale bids and negotiating large deals.
• Ability to use metrics and reporting software to support presentations (internal, client-facing, and external)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work in teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders with excellent presentation skills.
