Do you want to make a real difference for people in East Sussex, delivering Adult Social Care and Health's most important strategic improvement programmes? Then this is the role for you.
As a result of maternity leave, there is an opportunity to lead, shape and implement the departments development priorities. You will focus on work to transform the front-door of Adult Social Care, on leveraging the benefits of digital for adults, carers and staff and on the provision of excellent information and advice services.
You will be working closely with staff at all levels including the Adult Social Care and Health Departmental Management Team, Operational and Commissioning Managers as well as partners such as NHS provider trusts, primary care and voluntary organisations.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience of managing a busy service with conflicting demands and priorities
- Have experience of delivering large and complex change programmes
- Have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others
- Have knowledge of Adult Social Care and Health
This is a high-profile position which provides an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to utilise their existing skills, gain experience and directly support key Council objectives that make a real difference in people's lives.
