About the role
We have on offer a Lecturer in SocialWork equivalent to 1.0 FTE. The role offers the opportunity to work acrossundergraduate, postgraduate, and our apprenticeships programmes, providingscope to develop excellence in academic practice.
To support and enable our staff toachieve a balance between work and their personal lives, we are offering fulland part time opportunities and will also consider proposals for flexibleworking or job share arrangements.
Our University offers excellent staffdevelopment opportunities including a Post-Graduate Certificate in Educationand potentially PhD/research options, with alignment to our Research Centres.
About You
We areseeking an experienced social worker to contribute to our Social Workand Continuous Professional Development (CDP) programmes. You will bringeducational experience from a university setting, and a track record ofinnovation and leadership in professional practice. We welcome applicantsinterested in combining an academic role with practice and can considerfractional posts alongside your current employer.
A keyattribute will be your ability to work flexibly across our undergraduate andpostgraduate Social Work programmes (pre-registration and CPD), where yourinsight into contemporary practice (clinical and educational), will enhancestudent experience and learning. You will be a highly motivated individual who bringsstrength in education, research and practice. Above all, we are looking forpeople who share our passion for high-quality student-centred social workeducation and have a strong vision for how the integration of education,practice and research can transform health care.
