International Admissions Representative
Grade 5 (£26,706.73 - £30,378.43)
Full time, Fixed Term (for a period of 2 years)

The International Recruitment and Partnerships Office (IRPO) is responsible for growing the University's international reputation and revenue. Comprising an international recruitment team tasked with increasing the number and diversity of international students on campus in Dundee; an international partnerships team focussed on developing our portfolio of Abertay programmes being taught overseas; and a Student Exchange and Study Abroad function which manages student mobility programmes with partner institutions on an exchanged and direct enrol basis; the team works closely with academic faculties and professional services, particularly Admissions and Marketing teams, to develop and deliver the University's international agenda.
The University now seeks to appoint two International Admissions Representatives to support the delivery of strategies, relationships and activities aimed at attracting international applications and enrolments for all University programmes. Abertay seeks to grow and diversify its international student cohort and this role supports the promotion of the University to, and the enrolment of prospective international students from a range of overseas regions. The posts are part of a graduate recruitment programme, and successful candidates will operate on a fixed term contract for 2 years (23 months), with the expectation that the role supports career development following completion of the contract.

Reporting to senior International Recruitment Team colleagues, the International Admissions Representatives play a supporting role in delivering international engagement plans to grow student enrolments from specified regions. International recruitment staff work closely with colleagues in other areas of the University, in particular with colleagues in Admissions, Marketing, Communications, and UK recruitment functions, as well as other University stakeholders within academic faculties and university services. Priority relationships will however be external, primarily prospective students and their key influencers.
