Football Development Goalkeeper Coach
Location: Suffolk
Hours: 3 - 6 hours per week, Evenigs
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Norwich City Football Development Team at Norwich City Football Development as a Youth Goalkeeper Coach.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated coach to help support the development of goalkeepers within our Football Development programme. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, high-quality coaching sessions and supporting each player's individual development journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, passionate about player development, and experienced in goalkeeper coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions in line with the Academy's Football Curriculum (specific to the Youth Development Phase)
- Coach and support our U8 - U15 boys and girls
- Manage and monitor players' Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
- Support player reviews every 6 to 12 weeks
- Assist in identifying and recruiting talented young players for the Academy system
- Produce and record formal session plans for each session delivered
- Prepare for and evaluate all fixtures, with formal documentation
- Regularly coach fixtures at category one and two facilities
- Promote and maintain a safe, inclusive environment, with safeguarding as a shared responsibility

Essential Requirements:
- UEFA C Licence (desired)
- FA Advanced Youth Award
- Valid Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) or BFAS Qualification
- Current FA Safeguarding Children qualification
- Experience coaching young players in a football environment
- Availability on Weekday evenings, 5:00-8:30 PM
