About the role
As an HR Business Partner, you'll hold a strategic portfolio and work closely with senior leaders to deliver high-impact people solutions. This isn't just another HR role, it's a chance to influence big decisions about our people, to shape workforce activities that add value, and bring ideas and solutions to service challenges that make a meaningful and lasting difference. You'll be the trusted expert, well used to advising and supporting on transformation, talent strategy, culture development, EDI, wellbeing, workforce planning, and organisational design activities. You'll use evidence, insight, and creativity to steer solutions, challenge thinking, and deliver positive outcomes for our workforce.
What you'll be doing
As a senior individual within our People Service, you'll have a unique and varied role which requires you to provide high-level HR expertise and strategic advice to leaders and stakeholders. Using data and insight to inform decisions and drive improvement, you'll lead and support complex change, transformation and strategic projects. Matrix-managing our people and supporting technical development, you'll shape workforce, wellbeing and EDI strategies. You'll build strong professional relationships across the Council, unions, partners and external bodies, and represent our People Service with confidence, clarity and professionalism.
