We are offering the opportunity to join our Property Service Capital programme Team as we move forward in delivering our asset management and school planning strategies.
Property Service is looking for an experienced property professional to develop our programme of condition-led building projects. The programme includes works to ensure that our corporate premises and schools are maintained in good condition and meet statutory compliance and inspection requirements.
You will be an inspirational leader with great communication skills and be committed to ensuring that stakeholders are fully engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Supporting the service as we transition to a corporate model of property management. Achieving value for money is essential as is an enthusiasm for exploring new ways of service delivery and modern, sustainable methods of construction.
The team performs the role of informed client by transforming accommodation requirements into detailed briefs and securing appropriate capital and revenue funding for delivery. If you are passionate about exploring and developing new ways of working and improving the capabilities of existing systems, then this might be the role for you.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the Capital Programme Team that provides strategic management of the council's property, school and highway assets.
