Your role will involve

In the data security group, we are looking for two research interns in the field of AI agent collaboration for cross organizational problem solving. In our project, we are working on developing technologies that use artificial intelligence agents to facilitate the collaboration of organizations for efficient and effective solving of mutual problems, leveraging Data Spaces for enhanced sovereign orchestration. The interns will perform support tasks in R&D. In research, state of the art reviews and assistance setting up computational environment for experiments. In development, assistance in software development, together with our software delivery unit.

Our work environment is highly collaborative, with frequent and stimulating research discussions in an international and diverse environment. Our research spans from theoretical research in data and security to delivering proof of concepts to our business partners. This is an exciting opportunity to explore a full range of R&D activities.

Your Transferable Skills and Experience

To be suitable for this opportunity, you will be proactive in your approach, adaptable and able to demonstrate that you have:

A master's or similar post-graduate qualification in a relevant field
Experience reading scientific papers in AI and cybersecurity
Experience in using git for collaborative software development
Proficiency in Python programming language
Experience in using containers for application development
Experience working with AI agents and tools (such as Google ADK, A2A Protocol, MCP, LangChain)
Some experience in test driven development is desired
