Description
Many service men, women, and veterans are facing issues like depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and other psychological challenges.
SSAFA offers assistance through a network of volunteer caseworkers and specialised services, facilitating practical support for your recovery journey. While SSAFA doesn't provide medical, counseling, or advocacy services directly, they can connect you with appropriate resources and offer empathetic support.
For mental health concerns, ex-Forces individuals should reach out to their GP, and serving individuals should contact the Defence Medical Service. Support is also available through OP COURAGE. SSAFA's services are accessible to individuals who have received payment from the Armed Forces or are immediate family members of veterans.
