Description
An employment grant is financial assistance offered to ex-military personnel and their families who are either unemployed or underemployed. There are two types of grants available:

Training, travel, accommodation, and equipment grant: This grant provides support for addressing unemployment or underemployment. It can also cover childcare and medical expenses related to training attendance, with a maximum limit of £1,000.

Licences grant: This grant is awarded to assist in finding or continuing work by funding professional licenses required for certain jobs, such as a Security Industry Authority (SIA) license. It is a one-time grant with a cap of £250, and recipients must plan for future license upkeep costs.
