Description
Glasgow’s Veterans United, offers a weekly course comprising self-improvement sessions, fitness training, and coaching. Participants work towards a coaching certificate. This initiative collaborates with the NHS and Rangers Charity Foundation to provide a 12-week Health and Wellbeing Course for veterans. The course includes peer mentors who support participants and coaching sessions with community coaches from Rangers. Participants can access external opportunities for skill development, volunteering, and social activities during the course. The eligibility criteria state that Glasgow’s Veterans United is open to all former Armed Forces members residing in the Glasgow area, regardless of various factors. Fitness level is not a prerequisite.
