Do you want to make a positive difference to vulnerable people's lives? If you do, we have an exciting opportunity in the Appointee & Deputyship Team (ADT) of Adult Social Care (ASC), for an Appointee & Deputyship Team Case Worker.
As a Case Worker you will be supporting adults to manage their finances and make decisions in their best interests. You will review clients' finances, including benefits and income applications, payment of bills and expenses. The role also includes administrative duties, including, but not limited to, post, emails, and telephone calls.
Your training will include gaining accreditation with the Association of Public Authority Deputies.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have communication skills
- Are organised, self-motivated and proactive
- Have a good level of numeracy
- Are a Team player
- Can work under pressure
