Do you enjoy tasks such as general repairs, maintenance and problem solving?

We are a busy day service supporting adults with disabilities and provide day time supports for people in social, leisure, education and centre based activities and are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, flexible person who would enjoy maintaining the building for people to use. Good communication skills, positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team to deliver a great service are required.

We require a handyperson Monday to Friday 3 hours per day, 15hrs per week in total to be based at Fylde Day Services in Kirkham. Times to be negotiated. Duties may occasionally include some work at our day service in Fleetwood, in addition to Short Breaks Services in the area. Applicants must have a current clean full driving licence and ability to travel within the district.

Main duties would be:

To undertake general maintenance and repairs in LCC buildings as directed by the Service Manager.

Carrying out routine Health & Safety checks / inspections and reporting findings.

To carry out specific cleaning duties both internally and externally
