The Airbus Armed Forces policy provides 10 days paid leave and 5 days unpaid leave annually to allow reservists to fulfil their training and deployment commitments. The policy also includes transitional training and return-to-work support for employees returning from service. The ERG includes several reservists and acts as a peer support hub.
Airbus supports cadet force adult volunteers through additional leave and works with local cadet groups at its UK sites to encourage career exploration and STEM engagement. Airbus supports wounded, injured and sick Service personnel through employment opportunities, peer support, and workplace adjustments. The company provides access to mental health resources and financial guidance, including Armed Forces pension support, to help prevent hardship and retirement poverty. Airbus also partners with specialist organisations to enable smooth transition into civilian roles.
