Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services

Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services supports the community by increasing public awareness and positive perception. Design and deliver presentation and training to professional of other organisation, mak-ing them aware of how to best support armed forces and work veterans and their family members. Raise funds to provide services for families and veterans. Improve veterans welfare by developing better and through advocacy. We design and deliver ETE, IT and employment skills training programme de-signed for veterans and their family members. We do offer support programme of counselling, support groups, health and well-being programme, substance and alcohol misuse support, psychosocial services, drop-in services, outing days, suicide prevention, mental health and PTSD support to veterans and their family members. We offer direct advocacy and links to local housing advice, housing associations and work directly in partnership with local housing associations specialist for veterans, and support veterans and their family members to get suitable accommodations. We support veterans and their family members on a linger term basis, to support them to reengage with their local community by offering one to one counselling, support groups, psychosocial support services, community engagement work, outreach, home visits, escorting veterans, advocacy and by working in partnership with many other local organisations, churches and various institutions.
