Confined Space Rescue Team Members
Description
We are currently recruiting for confined space rescue team members to support an increase in demand for our services across the south-west.
This role will involve:
- Performing all duties as assigned by the Rescue Team Manager.
- Ensuring all appropriate personal protective equipment is worn at all times.
- Ensuring all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are completed accurately and stored correctly.
- Understanding of client work permits procedures.
- Communicating effectively with our team members to ensure works are operating safely.
- Always ensuring availability whilst on shift to affect a rescue.
- Maintaining competence at rescue techniques and assist in rescues as directed.
- Participating in required training and demonstrates a working understanding of safe working practices.
- Ensuring their training accreditations are current and suitable for work undertaken.
- Inspecting and verifying equipment prior before use
- Recognising worksite hazards and notifying the Rescue Team Lead of any unsafe conditions.
- Actively participates in toolbox talks and practical demonstrations of rescue techniques.

- City & Guilds 6160 03 High Risk Confined space and 6160-08 Rescue and recovery.
- FREC 3 or equivalent qualification desirable.
- Security Clearance - must be able to obtain DBS and full security clearance.
Full training is available to those candidates who are suitable for development.
Initially you will engage with us on a self-employed contractor basis, but full employment opportunities will be available for those who show competence and passion for the role.
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum dependent on experience.
