Venterra is proud to have become a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant in October 2022 joining many other companies from the sector in highlighting that the Offshore Wind Sector is forces friendly. Venterra and its six UK-based member companies support those currently serving in the Armed Forces and ex-forces personnel and their families who are considering a career in offshore wind, employing circa twenty ex-services between them. Venterra and the member companies currently hold bronze status of the Defence Employment Recognition Scheme with an aspiration to reach silver status in 2024. Our Commitments to promoting the Armed Forces include:  Promoting our work, activities and events via Venterra’s and the member company’s digital channels ie linked-in as well as working with the press;  Publishing our Covenant pledges on a dedicated Covenant section/page on our website  Promoting that we are an Armed Forces friendly organisation, to our staff, contractors, customers, suppliers and wider public eg by selling poppies prior to Remembrance Day,
