The University of Nottingham seeks applications for a full-time Brewing Research Fellow to join our team at the International Centre of Brewing Science (ICBS) at Sutton Bonington Campus.
The role-holder will take responsibility for conducting research, developing research objectives and proposals for a specific project focused on the development of a novel sustainable brewing adjunct material. This project is sponsored by an industry partner and has set milestones and deliverables.
Candidates must hold a PhD (or close to completion) in a relevant field such as brewing science, malting science, yeast cell biology, fermentation, or a related discipline; and have experience of disseminating their own research findings via conference presentations and publication in peer-reviewed journals. The post is offered on a full time (36.25 hours per week), fixed term contract until 28 February 2027.
