Lancashire County Council is looking for a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our People Operations Agency Team for a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organisation, teamwork, and providing exceptional service.
What You'll Do:
- Manage agency requests for Older People Residential homes and coordinate shifts with various agencies.
- Approve and check timesheets, addressing any discrepancies.
- Create monthly orders for care homes.
- Create ad-hoc orders for any required position within Lancashire County Council.
- Send CVs to managers and handle placement extensions.
- Support other homes during absences and answer queries regarding Comensura.
- Chase outstanding timesheets and assist agencies with submission issues.
- Maintain records (manual and electronic) and collate statistics and financial information.
- Respond to queries via phone, face-to-face, and email, ensuring timely information exchange.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant experience in administrative roles within a service delivery/customer-focused environment.
- Excellent ICT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and advanced text processing.
- Strong organisational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly and concisely with customers and colleagues.
