Located in the north of Portsmouth, Court Lane Infant School is proud of its caring ethos, encouraging and supporting children to be inspired, excel and work together. The academy is a positive and active place to work, and we believe that success here is built on strong relationships with everyone involved in the academy.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and has the ability to encourage children to engage in games and activities that promote physical activity and to support the children in learning to play together. You will also need to have a nurturing nature to support and develop the wellbeing of the children and be adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations.
As the lead professional at lunch times, you will be responsible for organising the lunch team to ensure that all lunch tasks are covered daily, this includes organising the setting up of the lunch hall with the catering staff to ensure the smooth running of the lunch process for the children
The school is proud to be part of the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust, which provides you with access to additional opportunities and benefits. All academies within the Trust have a unique identity, but a shared belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where staff feel valued.
As part of our commitment to staff wellbeing and delivering high-quality education, we have introduced a two-week October half-term across all our schools. This initiative is already making a positive impact - giving staff and pupils a valuable break during the long autumn term, reducing absence through illness, and supporting overall well-being. It also brings greater consistency across our Trust, creating a more connected and efficient way of working.
It's just one example of how we prioritise our people and create a working environment where everyone can thrive.
At the University of Chichester Academy Trust, we believe that diversity drives creativity, innovation and excellence. We are committed to providing equality of opportunity, fostering an inclusive culture and welcome applications from individuals who are underrepresented within our workforce, including people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, disabled people, LGBTQI+ individuals and women (particularly for senior leadership roles).
Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and welcomed; please ring the school office to arrange an appointment. Tel: 023 92378890
